Game Audio Implementation
Adaptive Game Audio with FMOD - Senior Project
I used FMOD studio and Unity to create a game that highlighted FMOD’s adaptive audio features.
- As the player picks up more items, the music evolves and adds more layers
- Different types of items will add unique tracks to the music
- The song grows more complex as you progress to new areas, but can also slow back down to immerse the player
- Music evolves to become more urgent as you become in danger of an enemy or start being chased
- Sound effects like footsteps are programatically synced to the rhythm through FMOD’s API
- Different items have unique sound effects when thrown
- Sound effects have reverb applied in certain zones using an FMOD snapshot
Googoo: Bash!
A game I’m working on developing using GameMaker Studio
- Sound effects were made using a Korg Minilogue XD synthesizer
- The moody town theme was made using a Roland Alpha Juno 2 and Yamaha DX7 synthesizer
Alien Invasion (Game Design Final Project)
A game I made with a 5-person team in 6 weeks as the final project for my game design class.
- I created the music for the game, and implemented the sound effects
- In addition to the audio, I developed the UI, input/collisions, shop/upgrade paths, and more
Game Jam Projects
A few songs I made for different game jam projects I participated in. Most were made in around an hour.

Woe Boys
Here are a few of the new songs I released this past year with my band. The songs were recorded, mixed, and mastered by me using Ableton. All of the instruments are played by me except some guitar, vocals, and drums, which the other members play.
I’m very proud of how much my mixing skills have evolved since we started this project in 2020.
